The Versatile Pharmaceutical Representative

With the continual changes that take place in the pharmaceutical marketplace, competitive advantage from sources such as patent protection or product differences can be short-lived. Instead, sales success depends on pharmaceutical representatives’ ability to interact well with health care professionals of all levels.
After completing The Versatile Pharmaceutical Representative (VPR), pharmaceutical representatives are able to plan strategies and demonstrate style modification skills. Following the application workshop, they can implement their planning and versatility skills with health care professionals.
VPR addresses the development of sales skills in the context of business knowledge and helps create a selling attitude that aligns reps with health care providers as partners. Application reinforcement helps to ensure that participants will continue to employ their newly acquired skills on the job.

OFFERING OVERVIEW

A time-tested program, VPR is designed to help pharmaceutical representatives adapt their interpersonal behavior to increase the comfort levels of the health care professionals they call on. Interpersonal versatility is essential to lasting success in pharmaceutical sales, just as the ability to demonstrate an understanding of what health care professionals must consider before making patient recommendations is critical to your pharmaceutical representatives’ success. The payoff comes in increased marketshare and long-term relationships with physicians, managed care executives, pharmacists, and other health care professionals.

OFFERING DETAILS

Applying VPR is a highly interactive, one-day, facilitator-led application workshop for pharmaceutical representatives and district managers who have completed our core VPR program.
